Currently at Shield Proxies we do have 2 Types of Proxies, Which are
Residential Proxies and ISP Proxies
Residential proxies - Residential proxies are intermediary IP addresses borrowed from devices of real users: desktop, laptop computers, and sometimes even devices like smart TVs. Residential proxies basically route Internet traffic through intermediate servers. The proxy server assigns an alternate IP address to which all server requests are routed.

ISPs - An ISP proxy is an intermediary IP address that is associated with an internet service provider (ISP) but does not involve end users. In other words, itβs hosted on a server and not a residential device. in simple terms ISPs are a combination of both datacenter proxies & residential proxies. ISP proxies combine the qualities of datacenter and residential IPs: theyβre fast yet hard to detect.
