Residential Proxies and ISP Proxies

  • Residential proxies - Residential proxies are intermediary IP addresses borrowed from devices of real users: desktop, laptop computers, and sometimes even devices like smart TVs. Residential proxies basically route Internet traffic through intermediate servers. The proxy server assigns an alternate IP address to which all server requests are routed. In other words, it’s hosted on a server and not a residential device. in simple terms ISPs are a combination of both datacenter proxies & residential proxies.
